SimLab for Modo - Exporters

Expand the export functionality of Modo with SimLab plugins. These plugins allow you to export different file types, which helps you to collaborate with designers working with other software. Default settings from the export will work for most of the models, but you can control the export with the plugin's settings. All of these Simlab exporter plugins support up to Modo 17.

Some exporters are offered as 12-month subscriptions for either a single user or floating licence.

3D PDF Exporter For Modo

Export your Modo models into 3D .pdf files. This supports U3U and pre-based files. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in Modo to your PDF. You can select between multiple scenes and cameras, plus you can design the PDF to suit brand guidelines. You can also merge PDFs together within the plugin. 3D PDFs can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

DWF Exporter For Modo

Export your Modo models into .dwf file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your file. This file format is useful for working with stakeholders on Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

SketchUp Exporter For Modo

Export your Modo models into .skp file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your file. The SketchUp exporter is compatible with SketchUp version 8 and above, including SketchUp 2025.
