SimLab for SketchUp - Exporters

Expand the export functionality of SketchUp with SimLab plugins. Simlab Exporters for SketchUp help you collaborate with other designers across various software, such as SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and so many more. This exporter works out of the box for most models, but there are settings to help you control the scale of the model and the up vector to be used.

Choose the SketchUp Exporter plugin from the dropdown box above. Some exporters are offered as 12-month subscriptions. Others can be purchased as either a single user or floating licence, which are sold on a perpetual licence basis.

3D PDF Exporter For SketchUp

Export your SketchUp models to 3D PDF (.pdf and .u3d). Select between multiple scenes (3D and 2D) and cameras to be exported. Materials are supported and will be exported into your 3D PDF. Design your 3D PDF template to suit your brand guidelines and tastes. You can also merge 3D PDF files within the Simlabs Exporter. Choose between fixed and floating licences.

DWF Exporter For SketchUp

Export your Sketchup models into DWF (Design Web Format)for Autodesk. Materials are supported and will be carried over into Autodesk. This option is a 12-month subscription for a single, fixed licence.

DWG Exporter For SketchUp

Export your SketchUp models into AutoCAD, BricsCAD and other CAD/Modelling software. Transformations and materials are supported. This is a floating licence.

FBX Exporter For SketchUp

Export your SketchUp models into FBX file types. Animations and keyframes are supported within the export, as well as material selections. This exporter also supports models with FlexBodies.

GLTF Exporter For SketchUp

SketchUp models can be exported as either binary GLTF (.glb) or ASCI GLTF (.gltf) within the same exporter plugin. Geometries, materials, and textures are included within the export. This is a 12-month subscription.

JT Exporter For SketchUp

JT files are great for exporting SketchUp files to use in SOLIDWORKS or Autodesk Inventor. This exporter maintains geometries, materials, and textures.

OBJ Exporter For SketchUp

OBJ is a text-based file format for 3D designs. This exporter turns your SketchUp models into OBJs, which is excellent when working with older software.
