SimLab for SOLIDWORKS - Exporters

Expand the export functionality of SOLIDWORKS with SimLab plugins. These plugins allow you to export different file types, which helps you to collaborate with designers working with other software. Default settings from the export will work for most of the models, but you can control the export with the plugin's settings. All of these Simlab exporter plugins are Windows only and are compatible with SOLIWORKS 2013 to 2025 (unless otherwise stated).

Some exporters are offered as 12-month subscriptions for either a single user or floating licence.

3D PDF Exporter For SOLIDWORKS

Export your SOLIDWORKS models into 3D .pdf files. This supports U3U and pre-based files. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your PDF. You can select between multiple scenes and cameras, plus you can design the PDF to suit brand guidelines. You can also merge PDFs together within the plugin. 3D PDFs can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Collada Exporter For SOLIDWORKS

Export your SOLIDWORKS models into Collada's .dae file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your file. This plugin is compatible with SOLIDWORKS 2013-2024 but does not support the 2025 version.

DWF Exporter For SOLIDWORKS

Export your SOLIDWORKS models into .dwf file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your file. This file format is useful for working with stakeholders on Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

FBX Exporter For SOLIDWORKS

Export your SOLIDWORKS models into .fbx file format. This plugin transfers animations, keyframes, geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS to your file. This file format is useful for working with stakeholders on 3ds Max and Cinema4D.

GLTF Exporter for SOLIDWORKS

Export your SOLIDWORKS models into both binary GLTF (.glb) and ASCI GLTF (.gltf). HTML Exporter for SOLIDWORKS
