Bella is a spectral render engine perfect for product designers and architects who want to present their work with stunning visuals. The software offers matchless realism through optical physics and analogies grounded in real-world science.
Bella's key focus is simplicity. It's easy to use and creates predictability in the renders, which removes a lot of trial and error that many other renders have. Through its handling of complex caustics, Bella Render can achieve beautiful lighting effects, offering incredible realism. Buy Bella Render as a perpetual licence to get started.
Bella's licensing is completely customer-centric - both licenses (seat and node) are floating, permanent, and designed to be trouble-free.
Why Bella Render?
Fast Spectral Rendering
Bella's state of the art spectral solvers open a world of visual richness and detail that you have been missing with your RGB renderer. (Image Credit: Thomas An)
Matchless Realism
Bella's painstaking attention to detail in the models and algorithms we use, results in images with simply better light, and more life.
Complex Caustics
Bella's Atlas solver easily handles scenes with complex caustics, such as swimming pools and similar scenes
ArchViz
Bella's fast Saturn solver is especially suitable for architectural work. For instance, it handles typical sunlit glass facades with ease, using standard glass materials, with no special setup.
Product Visualisation
The Bella Uber materials make it fun and easy to experiment with finishes as you create appealing and unique looks.

Bella Render Key Features
Spectral Rendering
Bella operates in spectral space, enabling precise modelling of effects like BSDF wavelength dependency, diffraction, and atmospheric phenomena. This approach surpasses the accuracy achievable in traditional colour space rendering.
Layered Materials
Bella's materials feature authentic physical layers, incorporating inner subsurface scattering. Light interacts naturally with the substrate, individual layers, and thin films, delivering efficiency and realism.
Thin Film
The Thin Film node simulates nanometre-scale films, creating accurate iridescent effects. Ideal for applications like bubbles or other reflective surfaces.
Nested Dielectrics
Bella materials support nested priority, ensuring accurate rendering of overlapping dielectric volumes. This feature excels in scenarios like liquids in transparent containers, including wine glasses or perfume bottles.
Textures
Textures in Bella use a node-based structure, allowing outputs from one texture to serve as inputs for others. This flexible system supports complex texturing workflows.
Physical Sky & Sun
Bella’s physical sun and sky model can be adjusted using date, time, and location or by directly defining the direction.
Procedural Lights
Bella includes versatile procedural light types such as point, spot, area, and directional, providing flexibility for various lighting setups.
Intel Denoiser
Bella integrates Intel’s Open Image Denoise library, offering high-quality noise reduction for both IPR and production rendering.

WINDOWS
OS: Windows 10 or greater, 64-bit
CPU: Intel Sandy Bridge or greater, AMD Zen (older may work, but has not been tested)
GPU: any Vulkan-supporting GPU
MacOS
OS: MacOS Monterey (minimum target is Big Sur, but this has not been tested officially)
CPU: Intel Sandy Bridge or greater, or Apple Silicon
GPU: any Vulkan-supporting GPU
NOTE: Bella natively supports both Intel and Apple Silicon processors, so if you are on Apple Silicon but your 3D application does not support it (e.g. Maya prior to version 2024, Rhino 6/7), make sure to perform final rendering in Bella GUI, to avoid the slowdown inherent to running under Rosetta emulation.
