Chaos Scans are complex materials made simple. Instead of manually creating materials, you can take advantage of 1000s of ready-to-use materials that have been scanned to perfection. These are ready to be applied to 3D visualisations in 3ds Max, Maya, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Cinema 4D and Houdini. The growing collection includes samples of car paint, fabric, leather, wood, plastic, metal and more.
Chaos Scans is a workstation (1 GUI + 1 Render Node) license that allows a user to load and render scanned materials. Licenses are available as monthly or annual rentals.
Photoreal Materials
Each Chaos Scans material is generated using thousands of images. Real-world response to lighting, no seams - the result is often indistinguishable from the original sample.
