Enscape's Core Features
Real-Time Rendering
The real-time technology visualizes your project as a fully rendered 3D walkthrough that can be navigated and explored from every angle. You can follow every update to your plan instantly thanks to the bi-directional geometry exchange between your CAD or BIM program and the renderer. Use NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling support to improve performance in walkthroughs.
Virtual Reality
Explore your design in the compelling realism of virtual reality. Connect a VR headset like the Meta Quest 3 or HTC Vive Pro 2, and get ready to walk or fly through your project. You won’t believe the extraordinary experience it will evoke. (Windows Only)
Video Exporting
While you can share the raw files with other Enscape users, there are lots of export options for those without Enscape too. You can export videos and panaramas of your models, export as an executable (.exe) file or web standalone so users can walk through the scene themselves. Plus you can render and export an image with a transparent backgrounds.
Different Rendering Styles
Have control over how your renders look, and what is important to your client or colleagues. Artistic Visual Mode renders your project in pencil, pen or watercolour, while still retaining the 3D walkthrough element that is core to Enscape. White Mode and Outline settings render the scene without texture so you can focus on the architectual shapes and spaces without distracting colours. Plus you can also add a light map overlay to show how many lux are falling onto each surface throughout the day and night.
Asset and Material Library
In the Enscape Material Library, you can access over 400+ predefined high-quality materials. With little effort, you can communicate your design aesthetic and improve the realism of any scene. Plus, you can access an ever-growing library of people, trees, objects, and shrubs to help bring your project to life.
V-Ray scene exporter
Transfer key data from Enscape to V-Ray and other design applications, including 3ds Max and Cinema 4D with .vrscene files. From early design to final production, avoid duplication of work and collaborate better with project stakeholders.
Integrated Graphics Support
Enscape can now be used on Windows computers with Intel and AMD iGPUs (integrated graphics processing units), as it is accessible to more than just computers with separate physical GPUs. This is great if you’re budget-constrained or can’t purchase a machine without a dedicated GPU.
Share visualisations with QR codes
Create and share QR codes to your partners and customers, or include the QR codes on your customer information boards around the construction site or on marketing material to build excitement. Scanning the QR code opens a gallery with stills and panaramas.
What's New in Enscape
Categories for custom asset library
Organise imported custom assets with the categories feature. Save time by filtering assets in your library, and find the one you want faster. Group custom assets as you like for easier management, and avoid endless scrolling to find the asset you want within a few clicks.
Save Enscape sun position in views
Re-use a sun position by saving sun positions in your views, making it easier to reproduce an image with the same natural light conditions. Use slider controls and input fields for more accurate sun positions. Easily add the final touches to natural light and relate it to each view.
Update views
Fine-tune camera and sun positions for existing saved views. This time-saving feature frees you from having to create new views every time you wish to adjust one. Capture the best angle for final presentations by easily adjusting views.
Interior design assets and materials
Liven up interior projects with 210 new assets and 52 new materials. Select from a range of assets such as home fixtures, appliances, and accessories and materials such as wallpapers, wood, and tiles. Assess the functionality of an interior space with the right assets. Reduce time spent looking for materials online for your interior project.
Improved reflections
Create visualisations with improved reflections on mirrored surfaces. The reflections in windows or interior mirrors will be more complex and have more details. Enjoy more detailed reflections in your design scenes. Impress clients and win work with realistic-looking visualisations.
Plus...
- Create your own categories for the Custom Asset Library
- Save sun positions in views and easily update them
- Improved reflections
- New interior assets and materials
- Atmosphere Settings
- Custom Assets
- Collaborative Annotations
- Orthographical Views

Enscape is not provided as a plugin for Revit LT because Revit only allows the addition of third-party plugins in the full software version. This is a limitation set by Autodesk.
Known Issues
Two other Revit plugins, Colorizer and Techviz, conflict with Enscape. To avoid incompatibilities, please uninstall them before using Enscape.
SketchUp versions before 2024 do not officially support macOS 14 Sonoma. Using SketchUp and Enscape might cause technical issues. Please use at your discretion.
System Requirements
Enscape performs its renders using your graphics card (GPU), but the GPU must have dedicated VRAM, not shared VRAM like that found with Intel Integrated Graphics chips.
A good CPU can speed up Enscape's loading times. The system requirements to run Enscape and the Standalone Executable files that can be exported from Enscape are identical.
A fast and reliable internet connection is need to ensure the Asset Library loads smoothly.
Note: Real-time rendering performance is affected by the project size, and therefore, the above tables provide the minimum GPU specifications that we recommend where large CAD/BIM projects are regularly being worked on. Where VR is listed, the GPU’s clock speed (processor) has more relevance than the amount of VRAM, although you should always try to use a GPU with as much VRAM as possible.
