SimLab for Maya - Exporters

Expand the export functionality of Maya with SimLab plugins. Simlab Exporters for SketchUp help you collaborate with other designers across various software, such as SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, and so many more. This exporter works out of the box for most models, but there are settings to help you control the scale of the model and the up vector to be used. All plugins support Maya 2010-2025, unless otherwise stated.

3D PDF Exporter for Maya

Export your Maya models to 3D PDF (.pdf and .u3d). Select between multiple scenes (3D and 2D) and cameras to be exported. Materials are supported and will be exported into your 3D PDF. Design your 3D PDF template to suit your brand guidelines and tastes. You can also merge 3D PDF files within the Simlabs Exporter. Choose between fixed and floating licences.

SketchUp Exporter for Maya

Export your Maya models to .skp files for use in SketchUp. These file types work with SketchUp version 8 and above. The plugin transfers geometries, materials, and textures, and there are options to scale, rotate, and change up vector upon importing into SketchUp.

USDZ Exporter for Maya

Export your Maya models to .usdz files. This file type supports animations and keyframes. It also supports models with FlexBodies. The models can be exported with their assient geometries, materials and textures, plus you can scale, rotate and change up vectors during the export. This file format is great for when working with stakeholders working with SketchUp, Blender, and Adobe Aero.

GLTF Exporter for Maya

Export your Maya models into both binary GLTF (.glb) and ASCI GLTF (.gltf). This plugin retains animations, keyframes, geometries, materials, and textures, plus you can scale, rotate, and change the up vector upon exporting. This is great when working with Stakeholders on Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.

3MF Exporter for Maya

Export your Maya models into .3mf files. This file format is a file type that can be opened in most modern 3D modelling and 3D printing software.
