SimLab for SOLIDWORKS - Exporters

Expand the export functionality of SOLIDWORKS with SimLab plugins. These plugins allow you to export different file types, which helps you to collaborate with designers working with other software. Default settings from the export will work for most of the models, but you can control the export with the plugin's settings. This plugin supports Revit versions 2013-2025.

Some exporters are offered as 12-month subscriptions for either a single user or floating licence.

3D PDF Exporter For Revit

Export your Revit models into 3D .pdf files. This supports U3U and pre-based files. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in Revit to your PDF. You can select between multiple scenes and cameras, plus you can design the PDF to suit brand guidelines. You can also merge PDFs together within the plugin. 3D PDFs can be viewed using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Collada Exporter For Revit

Export your Revit models into Collada's .dae file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in Revit to your file.

FBX Exporter For Revit

Export your Revit models into .fbx file format. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in Revit to your file. This file format is useful for working with stakeholders on 3ds Max and Cinema4D.

GLTF Exporter for Revit

Export your Revit models into both binary GLTF (.glb) and ASCI GLTF (.gltf). This plugin retains geometries, materials, and textures, plus you can scale, rotate, and change the up vector upon exporting. This is great when working with Stakeholders on Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max and Cinema 4D.

OBJ Exporter for Revit

Export your Revit models into .obj files. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in Revit, plus you can scale, rotate, and change the up vector upon exporting. This file format is great when working with stakeholders on Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema4D, Adobe After Effects and KeyShot

SketchUp Exporter for Revit

Export your Revit models into .skp files. This is compatible with SketchUp version 8 and above, including SketchUp 2025. This plugin transfers geometries, materials and textures assigned in SOLIDWORKS, plus you can scale, rotate, and change the up vector upon exporting.

USDZ Exporter for Revit

Export your Revit models to .usdz files. The models can be exported with their assient geometries, materials and textures, plus you can scale, rotate and change up vectors during the export. This file format is great for when working with stakeholders working with SketchUp, Blender, Maya and Adobe Aero
